Hughes has poor outing and A-Rod headed to DL

Phil Hughes had another poor showing and A-Rod is headed to the DL for 15 days. Cashman and Girardi are now forced to scratch their heads as things have gone pretty bad so far this early in the season. Despite the injuries and rotation problems with the young Hughes and Kennedy, we are not far behind first place. Still, Girardi is getting tested with all these problems and Cashman is now scratching his head trying to figure out the next move.


Is Hughes headed to triple A? I wonder. He doesn’t seem to be relaxing up there on the mound. With A-Rod out now, everyone seriously needs to step up and bring the A game. 

Nobody is hitting!!!

I really expect trades to come sooner than usual. It should be interesting when Hank blows his horn which will come soon, I’m sure. 

Pettitte on the mound tomorrow. Lets get it going. I must say it is nice to be home.
