10 game battle ahead.

This 10 game road trip is going to be a real indication what knid of baseball we are playing right now. Even though the Orioles started red hot, they have a solid team at the moment and if we can get at least two out of three in Camden Yards, that would be great. The White Sox might be the most under rated team right now in the AL. Their lineup is solid and they too are playing great baseball. The last three games will be a nice showdown with the Indians who knocked us off in last years playoffs. I was at Yankee Stadium for last years series and it was a tough loss to swallow especially with Joe’s final game. Let’s hope the veterans remind the team what a nice sweep would be in Cleveland. Hughes has a lot to prove tonight. I think he is clearly one of the best young talents in the game , he just has to calm down and find his groove.
Should we make much of Farnsworth throwing behind manny last night? I think not. A bit of retaliation for hitting A-Rod the previous night is all it was. It is too early for the teams to get in the heat just yet. After all, we are only in April.
Lets see what we can do here. Looking forward to a great road trip. Lets Go Yankees!!!!

It is a lot to ask but the Bombers need to sweep this series against the Orioles then hope to go 4-3 the rest of the trip. It is the time of the season when the better teams start to separate themselves so winning is as important as ever even against tough opponents like Chicago and Cleveland.
