Joba gets burned in The 9th, Girardi another questionable call?

Joba’s curve got burned in the bottom of the ninth and gave up the double to Quentin and the single to Crede that ended the potential come from behind battle to win and sweep the White Sox.
Hughes started the game but due to the rain delay, Girardi yanked him from the line up and put in Ohlendorf.
We baically lost this game in the fourth when we gave up 5 runs. With a team like the Sox and on the road, its the last thing you want to do. Trying to play catch up on the road is always tough.
So why didn’t Girardi walk Crede in the 9th? I do know he is batting 8th but he is clutch. I just wonder what Girardi was thinking.
And then why pinch hit Posada for Ensberg? Little by little it seems Girardi makes bad calls more and more. Well not so much bad calls but questionable calls.
I realize this game wasn’t loss because of Girardi. Actually it was a mix of Ohlendorf, Hawkins, Joba and a lot of Girardi.
Tomorrow is another day, we head to Cleveland. Good thing is Cleveland had a double header today against KC. Maybe we could take advantage of a tired Cleveland team.
See you in Cleveland tomorrow. Lets Go Petitte and lets go Yankees!!!!!
